Our services

Our assessment, therapy and support services for children and young people

We work with children, young people and young adults up to the age of 25 years, sometimes independently and sometimes as part of a family unit. We can adapt our approach according to an individual’s specific needs and circumstances.

How it works

1

Initial consultation

We take time to listen, understand concerns and build a complete picture of the child or young person’s strengths, needs and experiences.

2

Specialist assessment

Targeted assessments are carried out by the most appropriate specialists to explore specific areas of development, learning, behaviour or wellbeing.

3

Multidisciplinary review

Our team works together to consider all findings, combining expertise from different disciplines to ensure a holistic understanding.

4

Personalised care plan

Clear recommendations and practical next steps are provided, including assessment outcomes, support strategies, therapies and ongoing guidance.

At EPIC we believe in taking a ‘whole person’ approach to assessing and supporting children and young people. This takes time and often requires the combined expertise in physical, psychological and mental health to fully explore and make sense of a wide range of difficulties.
