Neurodevelopmental Assessment
EPIC offers consultant-led neurodevelopmental assessment for children, young people and young adults from age 0 to 25, across Devon and the South West. We assess autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, developmental language disorder, sensory processing difficulties and more, with a personalised approach designed to inform the right support, adaptations and interventions.
Conditions we assess
Autism and PDA
Specialist assessment for autism spectrum condition and pathological demand avoidance in children and young people.
ADHD / ADD
Assessment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, including inattentive, hyperactive and combined presentations.
DCD / Dyspraxia
For difficulties affecting movement, coordination and motor skills.
FASD
Assessment for fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, including the neurodevelopmental and physical impact of prenatal alcohol exposure.
Developmental Language Disorder
Assessment of speech, language processing and communication difficulties.
Global Developmental Delay
Assessment for GDD, where a child shows significant delay across multiple areas of development.
Sensory Processing
Specialist occupational therapy assessment of how the nervous system processes sensory information.
